Deadlines for re-registration of limited liability companies are changed.
President of Russian Federation Mr. Medvedev signed
Federal law 310-FZ dated 17.12.09 according to which deadline for LLC
re-registration is abolished.
Federal law 310-FZ makes changes in Federal law 312-FZ dated
30.12.2008. According to law 312-FZ all limited liability companies (LLC) should
made re-registration in Tax authorities and bring into accord with new law
constitutional documents of LLC not later then 1st of January 2010.
However, according to new amendments to the law company could make
re-registration not longer than they will make any changes in their
constitutional documents. No any penalties or fine will be charged with LLC
which didn’t make re-registration before 2010.
5) Russian government reduced quota of foreigners that may
be allowed to work in Russia.

The quota for foreigners that may be allowed working in Russian Federation
was reduced from 2 million to 1.3 million people.
The quota was reduced due to unemployment at the local
Russian market. For example in 2009 initially the quota for foreigners was
determined as 3.9 million and then du to economic crisis reasons was decreased
by government.
For 2010 it was approved the list of jobs for which there are
no any quota for foreign employees, such as managing director, Head of
representative office, CEO and number of other top-management positions.
